Semester Party, September 14th
On Friday, September 14th, in the afternoon/early evening PPOT will play a 45 minute set at the semester party at The University of Copenhagen. See the pictures from our concert there last year below. This year the party is expected to be considerably larger as it is the natural sciences, the medical school, and physio therapists that are joining forced to make a huge party.
You can read more here. It might not be obvious but you can only attend the university's party if you are somehow affiliated with it (attending or working there).
PHEW!
We're back! And, boy, what a ride. We were second act out of five. First act almost drowned in rain which was such a shame but for some mysterious the clouds cleared when we got on stage (or after one or two tunes). Even though we started in pouring rain we saw tons of people coming from the tents on campus to stand close to the stage which tripled or quadrupled the size of the audience. We were clad in blood stained t-shirts since we were playing Lemon Demon's "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny" (if you don't know already find the video on youtube or the Flash equivalent now). We played a 50 minuttes set which was just about right for such an event. After us there was two events before Magtens Korridorer ("Magtens Commodore" as we called them) went onstage doing a hell of a performance. After they played, we played AGAIN in "Caféens?" tent. This was some treat as the stage was really really small and no room between us and the audience which completely filled up the entire tent. While being served with drinks and beer we kept on playing for one and a half hours or so with a minor power drop out in the middle. Very refreshing and intense!
